Russell is an IT consultant. He works with open source technology specially Linux.[1]
Education
Russell is a computer science engineer and also holds a certification of CCNA and CompTia Linux+. Besides computer science he is interested in photography and fine arts and holds diploma in Fine Arts and advanced Diploma in Fine Arts. He has done basic photography course from Pathshala.[2]

In the field of computer science Russell is a specialist in CIFS (Samba), Custom Programming, Custom Systems, E-Commerce, Firewalls and Internet Security, Internet Server Development, Internet (Web) Programming, Netware Connectivity, Network Administration, System Administration, System Security, Virtual Private Networking.[3]

Russell owns Trance Host. He has been a Ubuntu member since June 2008. He has been a Techie in Chief at Compurius since March 2008. He is president at Bangladesh Linux Users Alliance since February 2002.[4]
