Desara Dushi is a Ph.D. Candidate/Research Fellow at the Erasmus Mundus Joint International Doctoral (Ph.D.) Degree in Law, Science and Technology with full fellowship from the European Commission. She has completed her first year of doctoral studies at the University of Bologna and University of Turin. She is now concluding her first term of second year studies at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania and preparing to move to the University of Tilburg for continuing the second term. She is supervised by University of Luxembourg where she will pass the third and last year of her doctoral studies.

Her research interests comprise cybercrime, cybersecurity, privacy, crime investigation, human rights and international law. She is very interested in the intersection of law and technology and the use of technology for investigative purposes.
