Maarten Botterman is the Director of GNKS Consult BV.[1] He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and was the interim CEO, at the Public Interest Registry.[2] PIR is responsible for managing the .org domain.

He is also a member of the Permanent Stakeholders Group of the European Network and Information Security Agency.[3]

Maarten attended the RIPE 61 meeting and presented survey results conducted together with the RIRs on IPv6 deployment in 2010.[4]

When not at work, Maarten enjoys spending time with his four daughters.[5]
