Currently, London and Partners, the city's official promotional agency, is working with the Mayor's office to put together a team and proposal. As of December 8, 2011, they have issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) from registries based in and outside of the UK.[1] Nominet and CentralNic, both English registries, have announced that they plan to submit or have submitted proposals.[2]
