He is also a member of the Arab team for Domain Names and Internet Issues under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and the Arabic Script IDN Working Group. Salama holds a Bachelor of Science Computer Science with a minor in Electronics from the American University in Cairo, and a Masters of Science in Business IT from Middlesex University, UK. He is currently working in PhD research on Internet Governance with Tamper University in Finland.
