Samantha Dickinson is the Owner of CinguaSympatica. She does consulting and writing for entities such as .nxt and ISOC.[1] She specializes in representing and developing Internet communities in Internet governance and intergovernmental forums, as well as developing Internet policy. She has also been a Representative of Technical and Academic Community at CSTD Working Group on IGF improvements.[2]

Career History

Dickinson worked for APNIC from 2001 to 2011, beginning as a Technical Editor from 2001 to 2006, Policy OFficer from 2006 to 2008, Senior Policy Specialist from 2008 to 2011, and finally ending as a Internet Governance Specialist from March 2011 to December 2011.[2]


Fun Fact

Samantha has a blind, epileptic parrot named Chucka, who occasionally needs to use a nebulizer due to a damaged nostril.[1]
