Samantha Frida is the VP of business development at Moniker and SnapNames, which she joined in October 2012. She was previously the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Instra Corporation, moving to Instra from Verisign in November, 2011.[1][2] At Verisign, she was a Senior Channel Manager.[3] Prior to this, Samantha Frida was a Domain Name Consultant at CPA Global, and also the Director of Digital Brand Management Services for Name.com LLC. She is a lawyer licensed in the U.K. Commonwealth.

She has extensive experience in the domain name field, including her time as the domain name attorney from October 2000 to October 2003 for Philips Electronics; she was responsible for managing the entire domain name portfolio for the Dutch company. One of her few tasks at Philips Electronics was to implement a corporate domain name management policy. She was an active member of the Philips E-Commerce Legal Support Team (ECLST), having written the chapter on domain names for the Corporate brand management manual at Philips Electronics.
She is an active member of both the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) at ICANN, and the IP Committee of Singapore Law Society. She also writes for the Singapore Law Gazette.[4]
