.starhub is a proposed Brand gTLD under ICANN's new gTLD Program, the extension is being applied for by Singaporean telecommunications firm, StarHub. The announcement regarding .starhub was the first such announcement by a Brand TLD applicant since the opening of the application window on January, 12, 2012. It is only the fifth Brand TLD applicant to publicly confirm their plans to apply.
StarHub has partnered with ARI Registry Services to run its technical back-end, and with Melbourne IT as an application consultant.[1]

StarHub is a telecommunications company based in Singapore. The company provides broadband internet, cable TV and mobile telephony. The company was established in 2000. StarHub is a publicly traded company under the Singapore Exchange since 2004. Neil Montefiore serves as CEO and Executive Director of the company. [2]
