Grupo de Estudos de Direito da Internet (GEDI@UFRN) or the Internet Law Studies Group is a research group of 'Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) formed with the objective of critically discussing the advances of digital technologies and the new social dynamic that emerges with these advances.
The base is essentially composed of law students, but embraces a multidisciplinary policy in view of the scope of its object of study, bringing both legal and social and technological issues.
All the debates and criticisms of GEDI seek to bring a social return of their themes, with the aim of bringing a greater awareness of the society regarding its powers and duties within the digital space, and alert to the risks that these technologies can bring.
