Lynn St. Amour is the former President of The Internet Society.
Professional Experience[edit | edit source]
After graduating University of Vermont, Lynn St. Amour began her career working for General Electric Corporation. After GE, she occupied numerous management positions for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), including:
- Director of Pricing for Sales and Marketing in Europe
- Corporate Strategic Alliance Director
- Sales and Product Forecasting Team Leader
- Leader of the worlwide Capacity Management Team[1]
The experience gained afterwards within AT&T as a director of Business Development and Joint Venture Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa helped her lead negotiation teams and the development of several telecommunications joint ventures with leading European companies.
