He has also been involved in a number of research initiatives with various organizations, studying such topics as Internet Governance, Cyber Security, e-Commerce, Intellectual Property, Data Protection and e-Democracy. He is currently writing a thesis on Data Protection in Convergent Telecommunications in Costa Rica and has been working with ISOC as an Independent Researcher for the "Internet Standards and Regulations: a Journey Around the World" project.

Adrian Quesada Rodriguez is a three-time ICANN Fellow (ICANN Open Meetings 47, 48 & 50). He is currently a Board Member of the Central American Association for Aeronautics and Space and a Teaching Assistant for the Technology, e-Commerce & Telecomunications Department for the Faculty of Law of the University of Costa Rica.[1]
