.sas is a proposed Brand gTLD in ICANN's new gTLD program. However, there are two brands applying for rights to the abbreviated form of their names.
Current Applicants[edit | edit source]
- Scandinavian Airlines System Group - the largest aviation company in Scandinavia, 2011 and its reported 2011 revenue was SEK 36.7 billion.[1]
- Research IP LLC - a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS Institute, a large software manufacturer based in North Carolina, USA.[2]
