Claudio Furtado has been the President of FAPESQ (Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado da Paraíba) since January 2011.[1] He is also a Professor at the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, where he has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on Relativity and Gravity.[1]
ICANN 52 in Singapore was his first ICANN conference, though he has also attended IGF. He is especially interested in education, governance, and IPv6.[2]
