Ben Wallis is a Regulatory Policy Analyst focused on connectivity including Internet governance and spectrum policy at Microsoft. As a firm supporter of the multi-stakeholder model, Ben and Microsoft are generally interested in the success and evolution of ICANN following the IANA transition.

Ben was a member of the Internet Governance Forum's (IGF) Multistakeholder Advisory Committee (MAG) from 2018-2020.

Career History[edit | edit source]

Ben previously worked in the International Team of the UK communications regulator, Ofcom, where his roles included Vice-Chair of the OECD’s Communications and Infrastructure Services Policy working party and Co-Chair of BEREC’s Net Neutrality working group.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]

As a member of the Business Constituency, he is following issues such as Universal Acceptance, Brand TLDs and the future of WHOIS.
