Michael (Mike) Flemming specializes in New gTLDs, Brand Registry support, Domain Name operations, and Domain Name consulting at GMO Brights Consulting in Japan. Since 2012, Mike has been an active member in the ICANN Community and other areas of the Domain Name Industry. In this short time, Mike has assisted in introducing the presence of many of Japan's top brands' TLDs to the Internet.
Mike has attended several ICANN Meetings and is involved in the Intellectual Property Constituency, Brand Registry Group, and Domain Name Association.
Mike, born and raised in the United States, has enjoyed a vast diversity of surroundings by living in many different locations in the United States; but ask him where he is from and he will tell you North Dakota, USA. In recent years he has found his second home in Japan. He has a pastime for history, cooking, art, poetry, and hikes into nature.
