.mk is the ccTLD for North Macedonia. It is managed by Macedonian Academic Research Network Skopje (Marnet).[1]

Rules and Restrictions[edit | edit source]

All individuals and legal entities have the right to register under the .mk domain.[2]

Second-level Domains[edit | edit source]

The following second-level domains are available:

  • .gov.mk: for the state administration bodies of the Republic of Macedonia, institutions, and other organizations established by the Constitution and law of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as public enterprises, local government units, and the City of Skopje;
  • .edu.mk: educational and research institutions, foreign educational organizations with authorization to conduct educational and research activities, and similar entities;
  • .inf.mk .com.mk, .net.mk: for commercial companies, individuals registered for independent activities, public authorities, chambers, cooperatives, financial organizations, legal entities, and individuals registered for conducting commercial activities;
  • .org.mk: for non-profit organizations, citizen associations and foundations, political parties, labor unions, public healthcare institutions, funds, foreign embassies, and non-profit foreign organizations permitted by international agreements or by law to conduct non-profit activities.[2]
