Ellen Rony is the co-author of DomainHanbook.com, a site which documents the history of ICANN and the world of Internet policy development. She is also a founding member of the Boston Working Group, which is a group that successfully influenced the design of ICANN, and particularly pushed for it to become a fully transparent and inclusive organization.[1] She is also a domain name expert, and has been called upon to act as an expert witness in litigation regarding the field.[2]

Author

Ellen has been writing about the IT and computer industries since 1981.[3] She has stayed active within the community since its very beginning and thus has been able to compile a unique archive of documents, meeting minutes, resolutions, and other source materials.[4] A list of some of her writing can be found here.

Education

Ms. Rony holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Stanford and a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College.[5]
