Ivan Vargas Chaves is a Board member for Colombia at ColorIURIS IEA.[1] He is also an advisory board member of the Legal Issues Journal of the University of Rosario and the Journal of Tort Law.[2]
Career History
Mr. Chaves has worked in the public and private sector and specializes in complex corporate litigation, contract law, international trade and intellectual property matters. [3]
Education
He hold a B.H. in Political and Economic Sciences from Colegio Carlos Arturo Torres and a J.D. from Universidad del Rosario. He studied French private law at Sorbonne University, Paris; International Law at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He has a postgraduate degree course in arbitration and mediation in intellectual property disputes from WIPO.[4]
