Vincent Chen

Vincent (WS) Chen is a Board Member of TWNIC and APTLD. He is also an Associate Professor at Department of Information Management of National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology.[1]
Mr. Chen also serves as a member of TWNIC International Affairs Committee. He is on the board of APNG.
Career History[edit | edit source]
He has served in various position at the Computer Center and Ministry of Education as well as NKFUST. He has worked at IPv6 Taiwan.[2]
Prof. Chen has been the main advocate for Taiwan BITnet and TANet. He also taught as an Adjunct Associate Professor for the Graduate Institute of Information Communications, Shih Hsin University.[3]
Prof. Vincent served as an ICANN IDN Committee member[4] and was an initial advisory council for DotAsia.[5] He has been the on the Board of Director and the Executive Director at APTLD and has served on the APRICOT Administrative Committee.[6]

He was a Fellowship Committee Member at APRICOT 2003.[7]
Prof. Vincent attended ICANN Shanghai, where he was a co-chair of a session and also gave a presentation about impact of IDN Registration Policy by UNICODE variants issue - case study on Chinese Characters.[8] He attended APTLD Board & Member Meeting in 2001.[9] and in 2002.[10]
He was the Chair at IPv6 Summit in Taiwan.[11] Prof. Chen attends At-Large Meetings.[12]
