Background

Alex Urbelis recognized the possibilities and need for IT law early on, as he studied as a full-time undergraduate while simultaneously working nearly full-time as a software programmer. He noted the tension technology stirs between free speech and the public interest, and it became the legal area he wanted to explore further. Notable experience includes a 1L internship with the Army JAG Corps, a full-time externship with a Vermont Supreme Court Justice, and a research position at Dartmouth's Institute for Security Technology Studies, which is a national center for cyber security and counterterrorism research and analysis. He also participated in a graduate fellowship in the office of General Counsel of the CIA, where he provided legal advice to the Terrorist Threat Integration Center, now known as the National Counterterrorism Center.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag
