Mahdi Taghizadeh (مهدی تقی‌زاده in Persian) is an Internet Governance Analyst & Senior Software Advisor who has held a number of roles in software development, project manager, and underrepresented.[1],

He has been the Chief Technology Officer at Fidilio since January 2010, where he manages a team working on website and applications. In September 2011, he also co-founded Dipudio, and organization which provides software solutions for web, mobile, desktop, and various platforms. In October 2015, he co-founded Delion which is an online meal delivery service in Tehran, Iran.[2][3]

Taghizadeh considers himself a "hacktivist", and he regularly publishes internet governance and technology-related writings on Medium.[1][4]

He is a member of At-Large Technology Task Force, an individual member of APRALO, a member of RSSAC Caucus and ICANNWiki Ambassador as the moderator of Persian ICANNWiki.

He was an ICANN Fellow at ICANN 54 in Dublin, ICANN 55 in Marrakech and ICANN 59 in Johannesburg, ICANN 60 in Abu Dhabi as the ICANN Booth Lead and also attended the ICANN 56 in Helsinki, Finland independently; ICANN 54 in Dublin was his first ICANN Meeting.[2]
