Imran Anwar is the Co-Founder and COO of the .pk ccTLD and PKNIC, as well as the CEO of Cloud 9 Global Inc., which provides cloud computing solutions. He is also a serial "parallel entrepreneur", writer, and media personality, who has also been involved with ICANN through ISOC.[1][2]

Some of his proudest life achievements include founding .pk and internet e-mail in Pakistan, along with the country's credit card industry.[1]

ICANN 50 in London was Anwar's first ICANN conference, and he has specific interests in ccTLDs, DNS, Intellectual Property Rights, and Telecommunications.[1]

In the future, he hopes to help contribute to "massive enhancements in the quality of life, health, social education, and happiness of people around the world by leveraging the power of technology, social awareness, and communications." He also hopes to build bridges between the USA and Pakistan, along with other countries, as well as help followers of the world's religions to learn more about one another so that they may live in harmony.[1]

His life interests include "living, boating, flying, riding, and enjoying life on the South Shore of Suffolk, in Long Island, NY and on the Atlantic coast of Florida."[2]
