Jennifer Austin is the Director of Marketing at 4-H Canada. She was previously the Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing at CIRA, the Canadian ccTLD registry.[1] She has held this position since July 2009.[2]

Jennifer has put an emphasis on rebranding .ca towards the general public, and she initiated the registry's use of consumer advertising and social media.[3] This trend can be evidenced in public video contests[4], and civic based awards.[5] CIRA also recently completed its first Canadian Internet Governance Forum, wherein they collected citizen's views on Internet governance; Jennifer was highly involved with this project.[6]

Ms. Austin has a background in software, marketing, and the non-profit sector. She has also worked as a political aid.[7]
