Gaurav Vedi is the Director of Product Management, Strategy and Operations for Dominion Registries managing end to end products and operations for TLDs - .Homes, .Autos, .Boats, .Yachts and .Motorcycles.
Career History[edit | edit source]
Gaurav Vedi has almost 10 years experience in the domain name industry. Prior to joining Dominion, he worked as Technical Manager with Verisign for 8 years and managed multiple teams and programs implementing new gTLDs, IDNs, DNS, DNSEC and RPMs (TMCH, sunrise, claims) etc. He holds MBA from University of Maryland, College Park - Robert Smith business school and Masters computers from Jamia university. He is also certified PMP from PMI.org. He also provided technical training to team members, developed knowledge base technical support documentation, and managed DNS services. He was the team expert on Internationalized Domain Names and Shared Registration Systems. He is an active member of Registry stakeholder Group (RySG) of GNSO and participates in providing feedback on several policy drafts from PDP WG.

Gaurav is a member of gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG) and has attended ICANN61 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Gaurav Vedi holds two Masters degrees. He completed MBA degree from University of Maryland, College Park - Robert Smith business school in USA and also Masters of Computer Applications from Jamia University, India. He is also a certified and skiled Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.org since 2009.
