Ashish Modi is a Country Head - Corporate Affairs in Data Xgen Technologies. His profile pertains to liaison with the Government, public and private sectors. He works to promote a unique initiative in Indian as well as in the global market initiative such as IDN, EAI, and integration of languages in email technology. He has been an active ICANN-UASG Member and has attended the ICANN meetings.

Ashish Modi has a vast experience of more than a decade now working at various levels at different organizations. He has been with Confederation of Indian Industry for a long time looking at the Policy Work. Mr Modi has also worked with the World Trade Centre in the field of connecting Exporters and Importers across the borders.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]

Ashish Modi is the UA Ambassador to India. He has been selected by Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG), supported by ICANN to represent the Asia Pacific as Ambassador of UA and spread and create awareness about the objective that all the Domains should be treated equally. He has been a speaker at various National and International Conference such as APRIGF 2017, THNIC 30 and others. He is seen very actively participating at various government forums also to spread the use of the multilingual Internet such as Rajbhasha (Department of Official Language, India).

Ashish Modi is an MBA from Chetana's Institute of Management, Mumbai, India. He has also done M.COM and B.COM
