Amal Al-Saqqaf is a teaching assistant in software engineering department in Taiz University in Yemen. She is currently a master student in computer engineering program in German Jordanian University in Jordan holding a bachelor degree in software engineering from Taiz University. She is a member in ISOC-Yemen chapter and representing it as an ALS in APRALO.

Al-saqqaf has participated in local and regional events of internet governance (The first Internet Governance Forum in Yemen in 2014, WSIS+10 meeting in 2015, MEAC- School of Internet Governance in Beirut in 2016).
