Ceasar Waweru is a passionate technology and innovation leader with a strong background in Informatics and Computer Science. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and Computer Science from Strathmore University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at Kenyatta University, focusing on weather forecasting using radial basis function networks.
Ceasar is a software quality assurance analyst at KCB Bank and has extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology management. He has earned multiple IT certifications from organizations such as Huawei, Oracle, and EC-Council, and holds specialized credentials in privacy, data protection, and cloud infrastructure.
As a Millennium Fellow and an ICANN NextGen Fellow, Ceasar actively contributes to global internet governance discussions, including his role in the Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) Caucus. He is also part of ICANN’s efforts to address privacy and proxy services accreditation issues.
With a deep commitment to climate advocacy, Ceasar has participated in global programs such as the Hackcorruption Hackathon, FXB Climate Advocates, and the Oxford Net Zero Global Youth Coalition, focusing on sustainable development, climate resilience, and education in the Global South.
His work spans across multiple fields, including technology innovation, sustainable development, and public policy, making him a dedicated advocate for progress in both African and global contexts.
