Ivan Vargas Chaves is a Board member for Colombia at ColorIURIS IEA.[1]
He is also an advisory board member of the Legal Issues Journal of the University of Rosario and the Journal of Tort Law.[2]
Iván Vargas Chaves is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex corporate litigation, contract law, international trade and intellectual property matters. He finished his law degree at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá and obtained a postgraduate degree course in arbitration and mediation in intellectual property disputes at the World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO. Mr. Vargas's experience includes local and national emerging growth as well as established companies in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate issues, franchising, technology licensing, arbitrations and mediations. His work has involved a broad range of industries, including information technology services, new media, internet, telecommunications, computers and software.
