Micaela Klein

Micaela is the Senior Advisor for Internet Policy to the U.S. Coordinator for Communication and Information Policy at the U.S. Department of State. In this role, she is responsible for international negotiations related to Internet policy, cyber security, and digital economy issues at multilateral and multistakeholder fora.

ICANN Involvement

Micaela supports U.S. government participation in the GAC.

Involvement in Internet Governance

Micaela represents the U.S. government at numerous fora including the International Telecommunication Union, CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation, and Internet Governance Forum, among others.

Dartmouth College

Governmental Advisory Committee. Considers and provides advice on the activities of ICANN as they relate to concerns of governments, particularly matters where there may be an interaction between ICANN's policies and various laws and international agreements or where they may affect public policy issues (ICANN Bylaws).
