Kailash Anand is a retired professor who worked at the Indian Statistical Institute. He was part of the Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research Division of the Indian Statistical Institute. [1]

In 2010, Kailash Anand was a successful candidate of the B.A. (HONOURS) Programme part II Examination, at the University of Delhi. This examination was held in May/June 2010. [2]

In addition, Kailash Anand was also part of the Programmes conducted by the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Institute of Quality. These programmes were conducted during the period November 2009 - February 2010, with a focus on Building Competitiveness in Higher Education by means of TQM methods. Kailash Anand participated at these programmes and was also present at the workshop on Accreditation Criteria for Inspection Bodies for ISO 17020 which took place in the period 23-24 February 2010 at Delhi.[3] At this event there were 14 participants representing 10 companies. Kailash Anand conducted this workshop as a representative of CII Institute of Quality, already being retired.

Being a professor at the Indian Institute of Statistics, one of the latest books published by Kailash Anand is called "High Quality at Economical Cost" - includes Concepts, Approaches, Techniques in Design and Manufacture. This book was released in 2003, containing 539 pages, theory and study cases. [4]
