Clarity Consulting is an IT company engaged with the development of software systems that target improvement in efficiency and productivity with reduced risks, enabling the maximum value for IT investment. The company designs, customizes and develops software applications for its clients. Besides being one of the foremost Microsoft Gold Certified Partners in the U.S, Clarity is also the Midwest Partner of the Year (2011) for Microsoft. The firm specializes in technologies based on the Microsoft platform, which include web applications using ASP.NET, Silverlight, Agile, iPhone, WPF smart clients, SharePoint, Surface and Windows Mobile. They cater to a wide range of clients, from manufacturing and retail, to legal and finance sectors. Some of the most notable clients of Clarity Consulting are Brandes, Crate, Dell, JP Morgan, McDonalds, Kraft, Arthur, Baxter, Axiom, Motorola, FedEx and Microsoft.[3]

History

The company was established in the year 1994 and the key factors which determined its growth were their consulting services and highly efficient developers. In October 2010, Craig Reishus was made the first Director of Business Development in Clarity Consulting, which is the same time during which the company was experiencing an inflated interest in both its consulting and traditional services as also their first product called Clarity Connect. Reishus was appointed to focus on the growth in the consulting services and product sales of the company and in the expansion of the company’s share in the enterprise marketplace. With the Clarity Connect becoming a major success, the company’s CEO, Jeff Smith, thought it was just the right time to appoint a Director of Business Development which will make their growth more strategic and scale up their tasks in a much more manageable manner.[4]

Clarity Connect

This is a contact center platform and the first one of its kind belonging to the 2010 environment of Microsoft Lync Server. The comprehensive working experience of the company with the Microsoft Unified Communications has enabled it to make Connect native to the 2010 Lync Server. Using this solution, Clarity now leverages the powerful communications functionality of Lync in delivering multi-nodal and full featured contact center at the most cost effective price. The Connect customer care solution was selected by Argyll and Bute Council for the Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) to boost up customer experience and improvise on communications.

Achievements

In July 2010, National Association For Business Resources announced Clarity among the 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For In Chicago. Only companies which have the best quality HR initiatives can qualify for this category and is one of the most sought after honors by the competing companies within the region. The selected companies along with Clarity were awarded by the NABR on August at the Oak Brook Marriott [5].
