Dotster is a domain name registration service held by the Baker Capital Equity Firm, founded in 1995 that offers hosting, email, security and marketing services to it's clients. Dotster is run by CEO Clint Page joining in 2000 and CFO Brian Unruh who joined in March 2005. The company head quarter is in Vancouver, Washington D.C.

Dotster is one of the world's largest domain name registrars holding more than 3 million domain under management and providing support and services to thousands of customers daily


Email Brain

Email Brain, which provides email marketing services was bought by Dotster in 2008. The company originally was founded in 2003 by Aurelio F Rodriguez. Email Brain allows the customers to send and keep track of promotions and newsletters.

Unique Concepts

Dotster offers three partnership programs, Affiliate, Reseller and Referral Network programs. The affiliate program is a commission based sellers program where sellers can earn up to three thousand dollars in bonuses. The reseller network allows a company, private-label domain name registration. The Referral program gives a successful referrer (referral has to register a domain for 2 years) free domain names to park, host or sell based on their need.
