Salve J. Nilsen is (as of March 2017) a board member of the Norwegian Chapter of ISOC. He's a long-time advocate, participant and practitioner of Open Source projects, and has involved himself especially in Norwegian FLOSS communities like the Norwegian Unix Users Group and the Perl community nationally and in Europe.

He is knowledgeable about Open Source software development, community management and methodologies. He'll also gladly share his opinions on common technical issues that affect developers, operations and software in general.
