Cyrus Namazi is the Vice President for DNS Industry Engagement at ICANN.

Career History

From 1995 to 2000 he was Director of Marketing at AMD; from 2000 to 2002 he was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Broadcom; from 2002 to 2005 he was Senior Director of Marketing and Application Engineering at Infineon Technologies; from 2005 to 2010 he was the Vice President of Marketing and Application Engineering at Conexant Systems and from 2010 to 2012 he was the Principal and Co-Founder at Claro Concepts. He joined ICANN as Vice President of Domain Name Services and Industry Relations in January 2013.

Education

He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, with honors, and an MBA from the University of Southern California, also with honors.
