Howard Bell is a computer and Internet expert who is currently the VP of Operations at the highest-selling new domain name extension registry, .CLUB Domains LLC. Howard is responsible for the registry’s operations, in addition to building the registry’s customer service and support offerings.

Background

Howard has been involved in the Internet industry since 1993, getting his start in Canada after graduating from Brock College in 1992 with a degree in computer science. Howard has worked with and continues to work with Entrepreneur Colin Campbell for several Internet-based companies such as Tucows Interactive, Internet Direct Canada, Hostopia.com, and now .CLUB Domains LLC.

Career

At his time working at Internet Direct Canada (TSX:IDX) and Tucows Interactive (TCX), Howard established and developed customer operations and technical support departments, and expanded them to multiple call centers across Canada. He also created a retail division to sell products and services through existing retail channels and locations. Howard was responsible for creating and managing these various contact centers.

During his time with Hostopia.com, Howard acted as VP, and developed several customer service and technical support departments in addition to building and managing Hostopia’s 200+ seat contact center in the Atlantic region of Canada, as well as many United States-based centers. Howard created the ACE (Amazing Customer Experiences) program for the Contact Center employees.

Howard also served as the VP of Bluewater Imaging, Inc., and implemented an IT strategy for a medical diagnostic imaging company with several locations and proprietary databases.
