I am an Engineer by qualification with majors in Computer & Communication Networks. I first heard about ICANN back in 2015 while attending DNS-Sec workshop organized by APNIC. The field of Internet Security caught my interest and I did some research in my undergrad years on IPv6 Security which I recently presented at IEEE Trustcom. I am quite new to the ICANN family and I’m particularly interested in understanding the social and economic impact of domain names. I attended APSIG 2017 and APrIGF 2017 and that is when I was introduced to the vastness of Internet domain and thereon I decided to learn more about Internet policies and governance! I’m looking forward to a splendid learning experience from ICANN60 and anticipating to know what is going on around the globe on these lines.
