Current Applicant

  1. Donuts (Auburn Hollow, LLC), the company was formed by domain industry veterans that applied for 307 new gTLDs. Previous Applicant

  1. Red Triangle, LLC, applied for the .band string through WhatBox?, a company that own domain name registrars, resellers and owns a portfolio of more than 1800 domain names. Erik Ludwick is the main contact person for the company. [2]

Private Auction Resolves Contention

WhatBox? withdrew their applications after an April 2014 private auction that was administered by Applicant Auction, in which Donuts won the rights to the string.[3]

Objections

The American Association of Independent Music filed community objections against both applications.[4]
