Alfredo Calderon Serrano is an IT & Data Management Consultant at Academia de Directores Médicos de Puerto Rico. He is also a member of the board on ISOC's Puerto Rico chapter.[1] [2] Has been involved since 2015 in various working groups within At-Large (ALAC) and ICANN.

He has taught for the last 40 years to improve access to instructional resources for teachers that are not aware of the benefits of technology and the Web 2.0 Tools and Open sources resources available. instructional Designer for online courses, Consultant for implementing distance learning programs, and planning strategies to enhance online presence using social media resources. Knowledgeable in Blackboard and Moodle. Chemistry professor at High School and Higher education level (General and Organic Chemistry).
Offer workshops to faculty on integrating technology in the teaching-learning process. I participate in various organizations delivering talks and workshops on different Web 2.0 Tools available that can complement teaching strategies. Emphasis on assessment and mobile solutions for teaching in a traditional or online environment is part of my skills.

I consider myself a life-long learner, who is passionate about incorporating technology into our daily lives. Created the first Apple iie AppleShare LAN at the University of Puerto Rico - Ponce Campus, to deliver computer-based learning modules in General and Organic courses.
