The following is excerpted from the applicant's response to question #18:
"Ally Financial Inc. is one of the worldʹs largest automotive financial services companies. Ally offers a full suite of automotive financing products and services in key markets around the world. Allyʹs other business units include mortgage operations and commercial finance, and the companyʹs subsidiary, Ally Bank, offers online retail banking products. Ally operates as a bank holding company. The proposed (.ally) gTLD is a restricted, exclusively-controlled TLD[.]"[2]
