Career History

Fiorella is a young professional in the field of online safety and digital skills, based in Brussels. In Brussels, she has been working also in the field of Internet Governance: after a traineeship at the European Commission (DG Connect), she started working at European Schoolnet, an international non-profit organisation working on innovation in education. The main projects Fiorella has been working on relate to Internet Governance especially in the focus areas of children and young people, who represent a high number of Internet end-users, and for whom the proper digital literacy and skills are essential from an early age.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation

In 2016, Fiorella has been participating in webinars organised by European Schoolnet (through the Better Internet for Kids line of work) and ICANN, to inform young people about Internet Governance, and also attended together with other colleagues of her organisation the EuroDIG in Brussels.

Education

After her degree in Political Science at the University of Bucharest, she continued her studies in International Relations, European law and Public administration in Spain and Italy. Before moving to Brussels, Fiorella has been actively collaborating in various professional programs with UNDP, the diplomatic environment, think tanks and international non-profit organisations.
