Kalenjin

Kalenjin is a tribe in Kenya. It is a tribe within the Nilotes in East Africa.To be specific they are highland Nilotes and they live around the Rift Valley Region.The Kalenjins were originally pastoralists, and they are well known for their athletic prowes. Some of the world renown athletes like Eliud Kichoge are from the Kalenjin Community. The Kalenjins like to drink a lot of milk and their favourite food is mursik(fermented milk with traditional herbs) and Ugali.
