Adrian Quesada Rodriguez is a three-time ICANN Fellow (ICANN 47, [ICANN 48]], ICANN 50).

He is currently a Fellow at the Secretariat of the Internet Governance Forum, a Board Member of the Central American Association for Aeronautics and Space and a Privacy by Design Ambassador.

Adrian is the author of a thesis on Data Protection on Convergent Telecommunications (for which he received the 2014 Data Protection Research Award by the Spanish Data Protection Agency). Previously, he worked as a pro-bono Mediator for the University of Costa Rica and the Ministry of Justice and Peace, and as a Research and Teaching Assistant for the Technology, e-Commerce & Telecomunications Department for the Faculty of Law of the University of Costa Rica.[1]

Adrian is currently involved with a number of organizations that relate to Internet and Space Law, namely:

ICANN Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group (Member);

ICANN Non-Commercial Users Constituency (Member);

Internet Society (Global Member, Costa Rican Chapter Member);

Costa Rican Association on Telecommunications Law (Founding Member);

Space Generation Advisory Council (Member);

SGAC Space Law Project Group (Member).

Adrian has been involved with ICANN through ISOC, of which he has been a member of the Costa Rica chapter for over three years as of July 2014.[2]. He has also been involved in a number of research initiatives with various organizations, studying such topics as Internet Governance, Cyber Security, e-Commerce, Intellectual Property, Data Protection and e-Democracy.
