Hiro Hotta is Director of JPRS. He is responsible for corporate planning and administration of JPRS.

He has actively participated and lead discussions in ICANN as a ccNSO Councilor and in APTLD as an active ex-Board member. He is also one of the alternate members participating in RSSAC of ICANN.

He is a member of APrIGF MSG (Multistakeholder Steering Group) and also a member of IGCJ (Internet Governance Conference Japan) coordination team. Among his recent activities regarding IDN, he chairs JGP (Japanese Generation Panel) in ICANN's RootLGR project. In June 2017, he received ICANN Multistakeholder Ethos Award, especially by being acknowledged his contribution to IDN development and deployment.
