Aisyahshakirah

Aisyah Shakirah is a member of Internet Society Malaysia and a law graduate from the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. She is the 2018 IGF Ambassador to UNESCO, Paris and recently selected to participate in the ICANN 64 NextGen Programme 2019 in Kobe, Japan. Aisyah completed her external studies in the area of multilateralism via a partnership of the EU and ASEAN at Maastricht University and Universitas Indonesia. She has participated in Internet governance fora such as WSIS, ITU’s Girls Day in Geneva, and ICANN 52, Singapore. She is particularly interested in the areas of artificial intelligence, human rights, media, privacy, cybersecurity, and youth engagement in Internet governance. Aisyah is actively involved in the ISOC Malaysia Chapter, organizing activities such as the Malaysian Internet Governance Forum, Malaysia Youth IGF, the Safer Internet Day and the Malaysian School for Internet Governance
