Ben Wallis is a Regulatory Policy Analyst focused on connectivity including Internet governance and spectrum policy at Microsoft. As a firm supporter of the multi-stakeholder model, Wallis and Microsoft are generally interested in the success and evolution of ICANN following the IANA transition.
Wallis is a member of the Internet Governance Forum's (IGF) Multistakeholder Advisory Committee (MAG). He is currently serving his second term after being selected for 2018.
Career History edit
Wallis previously worked in the International Team of the UK communications regulator, Ofcom, where his roles included Vice-Chair of the OECD’s Communications and Infrastructure Services Policy working party, and Co-Chair of BEREC’s Net Neutrality working group.

As a member of the Business Constituency, he is following issues such as Universal Acceptance, Brand TLDs and the future of WHOIS.
