James Mitchell joined the ICANN organization in October 2020 and currently holds the title of Director, Technical Services. He acts as the Liaison from the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) to the RSSAC.

Career History

Before joining ICANN, Mitchell was the Director of Domain Services for Packet Clearing House and a Product Manager at AssetOwl and Bombora Technologies.

Education

B.S. and M.S. in computer science from the University of Canterbury

Root Server System Advisory Committee. Advises the ICANN community and Board on matters relating to the operation, administration, security, and integrity of the Internet's Root Server System (ICANN Bylaws).
