Jeffrey Bedser is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in investigations, threat intelligence and abuse in the DNS. He is the founder of iThreat and has spent decades building technology, services and solutions to understand, prevent and combat Internet abuse and crime. iThreat is the source of the DAAR program for ICANN and runs CleanDNS for DNS providers to provide succinct bespoke approaches to DNS abuse management.

He currently serves on the Public Interest Registry (.ORG) Board of Directors as the Vice Chair and Chair of Audit and Risk.

Jeffrey R. Bedser is the founder and CEO of iThreat Cyber Group www.ithreat.com. Mr. Bedser has led iThreat on its journey from an internet investigative firm to a technology driven threat intelligence company. iThreat was initially formed in 1997 as Internet Crimes Group. Prior to iThreat Jeff worked in global security management in both the pharmaceutical and financial industries.


ICANN and Internet Governance Participation edit

Participating in the ICANN sphere since 2005, Jeff has been on the Security & Stability Advisory Committee since 2007 and has lead several work parties for SSAC publications. He has been the SSAC NomCom representative, the Liaison to the CSC and the ccPDP4 IDN working group. He has participated and presented at several IGF, TLDCON and APTLD meetings.
