Cid Torquato is Institutional Relations Coordinator at the Sao Paulo State Secretariat for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.[1] He is the co-founder and executive director of the Camara-e.net (Brazilian Chamber of Electronic Commerce), which participates in the World Summit events.[2]

Career History

Cid co-founded Camara-e.net in 2001. He has worked as Corporate Communications and Marketing Director for StarMedia Network. He has worked with several national and international companies such as SEBRAE, APEX, Softex, BIRD, IADB, Unctad and MERCOSUL. He has authored various articles and participated in speeches in Brazil. He worked with Federal e-Government Committee of Brazil, at the Ministry of Planning, where his job was to manage public Internet portals. He was Regional New Business Executive for Lowe & Partners, Latin America.[4]

Education

Cid Torquato holds a degree in Law from the University of Sao Paulo, with specialization in International Affairs.[5]
