Herb Waye is the adjunct to the Ombudsman for ICANN.[1]

As Adjunct to the Ombudsman, Herb assists Frank Fowlie, Ombudsman, during vacation periods or when the Ombudsman is otherwise unavailable. Herb has previously worked with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

He lives in Ottawa with his fiancée Christine. Herb recently completed a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training (MALT) with a specialization in Justice and Public Safety Leadership (JPSL) at Royal Roads University where he is now an associate faculty in the BJus Program[2].

Herb hails from Nova Scotia, where his parents, Sam and Ada, continue to reside. He has lived most of his life in the Province of Quebec and is fluently bilingual in French and English but can also speak just enough Spanish to get in trouble!!! He has three children, Andrew, Jillian and Michael. He also has 2 sisters, one living in Toronto, the other Ohio.
