Walusungu Gondwe

Walusungu Gondwe is a two-time ICANN Fellow, from ICANN 42 in Senegal and ICANN 45 in Toronto. He is interested in participating in ICANN through its NCUC. He is a Systems Engineer at the University of Malawi, where he has been since 2010. He is hoping to eventually establish an ISOC chapter in Malawi, as he is currently a member of ISOC global and there is no regional chapter in the country.[1] He is also a Fellow of AfriNIC.[2]

Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Network Engineer at Malawi SDNP, specializing in Systems Administration, DNS administration, Wireless networks, Client Assistance. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Statistics from Chancellor College, Malawi,[3] where he graduated with distinction. He has acquired additional training in Unix, networking, Internet Governance and ICT Strategy and Policy development.[4]

Walusungu is an avid basketball player.[5]
